SmartHive is the core of SmartCash. Holders of SMART tokens participate in SmartVoting. They can submit proposals to SmartHive for consideration and voting. Projects receive funding from the SmartHive fund, and hive members receive payment for completing proposals.
SmartRewards encourage the long-term holding of SMART tokens to decrease the trading volume and the volatility of SMART. Each wallet holding more than 1000 SMART over 30 days will be rewarded.
The protocol uses a Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm to mine new coins. It rewards not only miners but other network participants who support SmartCash.
The protocol sends 70% of the rewards to fund Community Development: SmartHive Project Proposals (46%) and Hive Teams (24%). The other 30% of the block reward goes to mining (5%), SmartRewards (15%), and SmartNodes (10%).
SmartCash Governance
SmartCash governance is based on the Smarthive model, where the community can vote to fund projects with rewards stored in the SmartHive Project Treasury and administered by the SmartHive.
